Welcome to ChaosCouple (“we,” “us,” “our”), a product of inGoodCode. By accessing or using chaoscouple.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What ChaosCouple Does

ChaosCouple is an AI-powered wedding planning tool that generates personalized wedding plans based on information you provide. Plans include suggested timelines, budget breakdowns, task lists, vendor recommendations, and product suggestions.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All wedding plans, vendor recommendations, budget estimates, and suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for inspiration and planning purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any AI-generated content, including but not limited to:

• Vendor names, contact details, ratings, or reviews
• Budget estimates or cost breakdowns
• Legal requirements for marriage in any jurisdiction
• Venue availability, pricing, or suitability
• Product availability or pricing on third-party platforms

You are solely responsible for independently verifying all information before making any decisions or purchases based on your wedding plan.

3. Accounts and Plans

• Free plans are stored on our servers and accessible via a unique URL. You are responsible for saving your plan link.
• Claimed plans are protected by a wedding handle and password that you create. You are responsible for keeping these credentials secure.
• Upgraded plans (Pro) provide additional features as described on our upgrade page at the time of purchase.

We do not guarantee permanent storage of free or unclaimed plans. Claimed and upgraded plans will be stored for a minimum of 12 months after the wedding date specified in the plan.

4. Pro Upgrade and Payments

• The ChaosCouple Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase at the price displayed at checkout.
• Payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, who handles all billing, taxes, and VAT.
• The Pro upgrade applies to a single wedding plan and all versions generated under that plan.
• Due to the digital nature of the product, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@chaoscouple.com if you are unsatisfied.

5. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Services

ChaosCouple contains affiliate links to third-party products and services, including Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. These links are provided for your convenience. We are not responsible for the products, services, pricing, or practices of any third-party platform.

Venue and vendor data is provided via the Google Places API. Ratings, reviews, photos, hours, and contact information are sourced from Google and may not reflect current conditions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond normal use
• Abuse the plan generation system (e.g., automated or bulk plan creation)
• Share Pro account credentials for commercial redistribution
• Upload or input content that is harmful, threatening, or violates any law

7. Intellectual Property

• The ChaosCouple name, logo, and website design are the property of inGoodCode.
• AI-generated wedding plans belong to you. You may use, share, print, and modify your plans freely.
• You grant us a limited license to store and process your input data solely for the purpose of generating and maintaining your wedding plan.

8. Limitation of Liability

ChaosCouple is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations
• Inaccurate vendor or venue information
• Loss of plan data
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Purchases made through affiliate links

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro upgrade.

9. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
